We’re incredibly proud to announce that our MIA packaging has won silver in one of the world’s most sought-after and prestigious packaging design competitions – the Pentawards.
The MIA packaging was created by our talented design partners Dynamo who submitted the packaging into the awards in March this year.
Following the Gala Ceremony which took place on the 6th September in New York, in the inspirational surroundings of the Guggenheim Museum, MIA was announced as a winner of a Silver Pentaward.
Dynamo Director Jamie Helly commented:
“The Pentawards are the Oscars of the packaging design industry so this is a hugely prestigious win for both Dynamo and MIA. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with MIA to launch their first chocolate range and we hope this is just the first of many award wins for the brand.”
Created in January 2007, the Pentawards are open to people and companies from all over the world who are associated with the creation or marketing of packaging. The idea behind the awards is to increase the stature of packaging design and the talented designers.
Each year, packaging from around the world is submitted and then judged by an international jury of 12 highly respected designers and packaging design Directors from major companies. The jury selects the winners based on the creative quality and the marketing relevance of the works presented.
There are over 50 different categories allowing any type of packaging from a whole host of sectors to compete and be judged against similar creations from its category, meaning beer is judged against beer, wine against wine and chocolate against chocolate.
