MIA Brownie Wonders

Whether it’s for celebrating or for a pick-me-up in troubled times, chocolate is the answer and when it comes to a chocolate boost to beat all others, brownies have to be up there as one of the UK’s favourites.

Here’s a quick and easy recipe for our healthy MIA Brownie Wonders which are packed with goodness to give you the energy and mood boost you need, wherever you are and whatever is happening.  They also only contain five ingredients and require zero baking so you don’t have to be Paul Hollywood to master these. 

 

Ingredients

1/2 cup of almonds
1/2 cup of cashew nuts
1 cup of dates (soak in water if they’re slightly dry)
1/2 cup of MIA chocolate – chopped into chunks (plus some extra to drizzle)
A pinch of salt

 

Method

 

  • First blend the nuts but stop just before they start to form a butter.
  • Then add the rest of the ingredients but keep the MIA to the side.
  • Once a soft dough is formed, stir in the MIA chunks.
  • Roll into 3cm balls and put on a flat surface or plate.
  • Drizzle with melted MIA and decorate with nuts or whatever you like.
